The C.P. Open is loosely based on the FedEx Cup, where players compete across a 5 Round Season against their handicaps. Based on their performance against their handicap, players are awarded Tournament Points. These points will act as their seeding placements going into a final 2-Day (36 holes) Tournament. The Top 10 Point Leaders at the end of the season will be awarded a stroke advantage relative to their position and start the Tournament under par as follows:
1st Place (-7)
2nd Place (-6)
3rd Place (-5)
4th Place (-4)
5th Place (-3)
6th Place (-3)
7th Place (-2)
8th Place (-2)
9th Place (-1)
10th Place (-1)
Handicaps will be adjusted at the end of the season and be applied for the official C.P. Open.
Players will start with 50 Tournament Points at the beginning of every round. Each stroke under your handicap is worth +6 points, while each score over your handicap is worth -5 points. Players can not score less than 0 points in a round. Anything beyond +10 their handicap will be recorded as 0 points.
Even par = 50 pts
-1 under = +6
+1 over = -5 pts

One important thing to note–Course Handicap will be accounted for.
A player with a handicap of 15 would have a course handicap of 17 at South Mountain, and a 10 at Mt. Carmel. Scoring will be accurate according to course and tees. See more on handicaps here
Based on the most recent 3 rounds of solo golf, below is a projected leaderboard.
In addition to scoring solo TP, golfers will also add each rounds TP they score to their team’s total TP score. This year, rather than every golfer on the team adding points, only the best 3 of 4 scores will count toward the team score. This will help negate golfers scoring 0 points from missing their round that week.
